Merry Christmas!
Went to visit Zen Garage for the first time and what an impressive space. I love the location and surroundings, it’s grungy and clean at the same time. I missed out on the free food because of a mad sleep in but I did buy an Illest tee. As usual, always good to catch up with people even if bumping into them 2 weekends in a row.

Went to check out the JDM Yard End of Year BBQ and was impressed with the cars that were there. Some cars came from interstate to show their support and a few of them drove with no air con. As usual it’s always good to see some guys from ClubITR represent and catch up with old friends. I love cars and the culture that comes with it.

After all these years, this day has finally come. The ceremony was hosted at the beautiful Eden Gardens and for the first time in a while, we’ve finally attended a wedding that actually started on time!
Married!
Love.
Cake.
Happy.. or sleepy?
Congratulations Jing & Shirley!
After 12 years, these high school sweet hearts and good friends of ours have finally tied the knot. With most guests running on Indo/Viet time, they did a smart thing by ensuring the times on the invites were earlier than when the event actually started. The church ceremony was beautiful and the reception was quite big with about 400 people attending.
All smiles for now.
Thien preparing tissue for Desgi’s tears of joy as Ngan started to walk in.
Riza reading Genesis 2:18-24.
Amused by Darwin’s talk.

What a fun & memorable wedding this was! The outdoor ceremony was nice, speeches were hilarious & emotional and their first dance was very cool, bit of shuffling here and there if you know what I mean. Congratulations guys and God bless!

We recently celebrated Richard’s birthday at an Eastern European restaurant called the Food Society. With the dates changing between the Friday and Saturday a few times, Karen managed to accommodate the most people and the booking was confirmed. The food was delicious!
Good mix of vegetables in the menu.

What an awesome event this was. So much VTEC in one place. So many fast Hondas! The guys from BYP organised a track day that will surely be an annual event. Hosted at the very familiar Wakefield Park Raceway, cars from Melbourne drove up 9 hours to participate and compete. The results? FAST!
Brandon’s DC2R won outright with a 1:03.2960. John Boston runner up in the Insight Motorsport S2000 with a 1:03.4010 and Damien set a new benchmark for NA Hondas with an amazing 1:05.6080.
It was great to be on the track again. The bug is back! However, I’m going to have to take a little break from it as I’m saving up for a big holiday.
Pre-meet at Pheasants Nest.
I love it.

Check out the custom diffuser! Berty raved about it as it enabled him to go full throttle through the kink.
Trophies!
Some of the cars were put back on trailers for the drive home and some stayed back for a group shot.
This day was the first opportunity for me to drive a K swapped car. So much power! Love it. This EG is owned by Ryan and coming out of the pits I went a little sideways. I taught him the lines and he won the “Most Improved” award! First time at the track, his best was 1:19. At the end of the day, he shaved 5 seconds and managed a 1:14.

I heart my bike
I had no plans yesterday so I decided to go for a casual ride to the city by myself and the weather was perfect. The sun was out and the head wind disguised the fact that the UV rays were burning my arm. I’ve now got an epic jersey tan. I have to admit that Sydney is a beautiful city to live and I.. heart my bike!
